Please join Stonecreek Interior Systems in congratulating Mike Lee, who has accepted the position of Product Line Manager for Stonecreek Interior Systems. His appointment is effective immediately and he will be transitioning from his current work at Stonecreek Ohio, into this role full-time during the first quarter of 2018. He will report directly to John Shultz, Executive Vice President.
Mike began his career in the institutional casework industry in 1986 at Case Systems in Midland Michigan. Starting as an Estimator, Mike rose through the ranks to the position of National Sales Manager and eventually held the title of Vice President of Business Development. In 2001 Mike accepted the role of President at Stonecreek Interior Systems.
Under Mike’s guidance the organization grew into a position of prominence as a dealership within the State. Eventually, Stonecreek expanded into the Indiana and Michigan markets. They enjoyed much success and became a leader in the School and Higher Education/Laboratory market segments.
In his new “senior role” as Product Line Manager, Mike’s considerable educational market segment experience, will serve him well as he takes on the responsibilities of this “start up position”; which will include:
- Following, discussing and probing market trends in our traditional casework arenas (School, Higher Education, laboratory and healthcare) and in looking at additional product opportunities that might exist in the FF&E side of the school market
- Identifying the potential opportunities to expand our scope in various product categories that can be included in the construction / general trades buyout packages
- Begin the process of considering how an “expanded FF&E approach” might be a factor in our ability to bring incremental value to our current and future clients in all market segments
- Eventually assisting in the development of our relationships with our manufacturing partners…working to identify product development opportunities, coordinate product training sessions and evaluate the success through measureable metrics.
Congratulations, Mike! We look forward to your guidance and contributions in this exciting and strategic role.
