Stonecreek Interior Systems is proud to announce the successful project completion of Central Michigan University’s (CMU) Biosciences Building. The new four-story 169,000 sq. ft. facility will provide students and faculty from Biomedical and Biotech to Botany and Zoology with a state-of-the-art hands-on research and learning environment. The floor plan promotes collaboration, adaptability and sharing of resources by having instructional rooms close in proximity to research labs. This will help facilitate open dialogue between students and faculty and increase efficiency and the speed at which collaborative research can be conducted.

Stonecreek provided the furniture project management and installation services. CiF Lab Solutions provided the Tier 1 premium E-line wood casework, the flexible and adaptable lab table systems and the Apex-Air fume hoods. Epoxy resin countertops provided by Durcon.

With sustainable design solutions this project is set to receive a LEED Gold certification.
