Stonecreek Interior Systems Awarded Middletown School District’s Middle/High School Renovation

Stonecreek Interior Systems is pleased to announce that it was awarded the Middletown Middle School and High School complete renovation project in Ohio. The $96 million project is a welcomed addition to their community. By 2018 the 46-year-old Middletown High School is expected to be renovated, and a new 135,000 square-foot middle school will be situated on the south side of the high school.

With the design from architectural firm Fanning Howey Associates, and under contract with CM @ Risk, Lend Lease – Conger MCSD JV, Stonecreek looks forward to contributing their part for a successful addition to the Middletown School District, and improving the learning environments of its students and faculty.

What is so unique about this project is that it was “bottom designed” meaning, the administration went to the students and teachers for their input on the design and features that they would like to see incorporated. Building conditions can directly affect the attitudes of students and teachers, with the new facility positive changes will play a vital role in the quality of education provided. The new school will house seventh grade through twelfth grade within their respective areas. The district is predicting that after the new schools open, student enrollment will increase and property values will rise.

Stonecreek will be providing Plastic Laminate Classroom and Laboratory Casework from Case Systems, Inc., Fume Hoods, Library Shelving, Custom Reception and Circulation Desks and extensive Laminate Wall Paneling throughout the project. Both Schools combined, Stonecreek’s portion of the contract exceeds $1.5 million.
