Stonecreek Interior Systems Awarded Olentangy School District’s Fourth High School

Stonecreek Interior Systems is proud to announce that it has been selected to provide plastic laminate classroom and laboratory casework by Case Systems, Inc., fume hoods, library shelving, display cases and custom reception and circulation desks for Olentangy School District’s fourth high school building. To meet continued increases in student enrollment and due to overcrowding at the district’s three existing high schools, the 303,000 square-foot $69.6 million project was approved in March 2016. Stonecreek’s portion of the work is approximately $1.2 million. Olentangy School District is the fastest growing district in the state of Ohio and currently has 5,578 students enrolled. Construction of the fourth high school is expected to be complete for the 2018-2019 academic school year.

Stonecreek’s main office is located in Lewis Center Ohio, within the Olentangy school district. The current students attending the high school most likely attended several elementary schools, where Stonecreek provided casework along with designs from Fanning Howey Associates. Stonecreek is looking forward to continuing to contribute to the learning and teaching environments for the district, and its residents.

For this project Gilbane Building Company will serve as the construction manager, and the architect will be Fanning Howey Associates. The design plans for the high school will be similar to Orange High School, with a few modifications and updates.
