The new Biology and Chemistry teaching labs for Ohio Dominican University’s Battelle Hall will provide faculty and students with 25,000 sq. ft. of science curriculum and lab space. The new facility houses seven instructional labs, three research labs and six core labs for instruments. Already the college has noticed a significant increase in the percentage of students who are majoring in science based curriculums. They’re making sure that their facilities are up-to-date can support the influx of student enrollment. Through the use of sustainable design practices and low emitting materials Battelle Hall received LEED Gold certification. This resource efficient facility is a welcomed addition to the campus.
